The northbound Lanes of US 41 will remain on the southbound side of the roadway through spring 2012. All ramps to the Mason Street interchange are closed. Mason Street is closed just east of Hinkle Street to just east of Taylor Street (Hinkle Street remaining open to traffic). 9th Street will remain open at all times however some delays can be expected. A detour for WIS 54 is posted utilizing WIS 172 and I-43 for regional and truck traffic.

The frontage roads along Mason Street are signed for “Right Turn Only” with concrete barrier at the intersections with Packerland Drive – traffic on the frontage roads is not allowed to turn left towards Mason Street. The intersection of Taylor Street & Mason Street is closed and will remain closed until the interchange is re-opened in August.

General interchange closure signing to notify the public of the interchange closure is posted on US 41 both north and south of the interchange area allowing motorists to exit at the previous interchanges (Lombardi or Shawano) for local access. Please note: No new traffic impacts are anticipated for the week of May 14 – May 18.
