US 41 – US 45 Interchange

Schedule: August 2010 to September 2012

Location: US 41/US 45 interchange.

Description: This project involves construction of multiple structures including bridges, box culverts, retaining walls, and sign bridges along with grading, base aggregate, concrete and asphalt pavements, concrete curb and gutter, and pavement marking.

May 7 to May 11: Contractor continued working on the parapet wall for the flyover ramp and adjusting storm sewers. Next week’s work includes adding gravel, asphalt and concrete to the ramps. Electrical and ITS equipment will continue to be installed.

Traffic impacts: The on-ramp from US 45 to US 41 northbound is closed. The off-ramp from US 41 northbound to US 45 is closed. A detour is set up for US 45 traffic, exiting from northbound US 41. 

• For US 45 southbound traffic, follow US 41 northbound to WIS 76, then follow WIS 76 south to Murdock Ave.
• For US 45 northbound traffic, follow US 41 northbound to WIS 76, follow WIS 76 northbound to US 10, then follow US 10 westbound to US 45 northbound.

Traffic exiting to US 45 from southbound US 41 can exit at US 45. Traffic can enter southbound US 41 from US 45.
