Schedule: July 2011 to December 2011

Location: Glory Road, Orange Lane to Larson Road

November 28 to December 4: Work will continue on the bridge, with the pouring of the parapet walls on the bridge being completed this week. The concrete pavement approach slab on the west side of the bridge will be poured early this week, with the concrete curb and gutter to follow during mid-week. They will grade and prep the approaches to the bridge for asphalt paving after all concrete work has been completed. The asphalt paving may take place late in the week, if not it will be done early next week.

December 5 to December 11: Asphalt paving will be done early this week, if necessary. Concrete sidewalk up to the bridge on all four corners will be done early this week. Beam guard installation will be conducted both on Glory Road at the bridge approaches and on US 41 around the pier in the median. The bridge will have all the falsework stripped off and barrier block removed from the median the night of December 6. Backfilling of the curb and gutter will be done this week if time permits.

Traffic impacts: Glory Road is closed. US 41 traffic will be detoured on the assigned detour route from 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 6 to 5 a.m. Wednesday, December 7.
