Traffic restrictions in Brown and Winnebago counties

(Green Bay) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region is announcing US 41 lane restrictions for October 31 – November 4 in Brown and Winnebago counties. Traffic impacts in Brown County involve lane closures between Scheuring Road and Velp Avenue with reduced speed limits. Drivers in Winnebago County are reminded of reduced speed limits between WIS 26 and Breezewood Lane. 

Winnebago County

County Z – WIS 21
Monday, October 31:
• Various lanes of northbound and southbound US 41, between County Z and WIS 21, closed Monday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for placement of barrier wall and pavement marking. 
• Southbound US 41 on-ramp from southbound WIS 44 closed Monday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for placement of barrier wall and pavement marking. 
Tuesday, November 1 - Thursday, November 3:
• Various lanes of northbound and southbound US 41, between County Z and WIS 21, closed Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., for median work.

WIS 21 – Breezewood Lane
Monday, October 31 - Thursday, November 3:
• Various lanes of northbound US 41, between Snell Road and Breezewood Lane, closed Monday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. to move barrier wall.
Tuesday, November 1:
• Various lanes of southbound US 41, between Snell Road and WIS 21, closed Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for inlet repair work.

Brown County

Scheuring Road – Velp Avenue
Monday, October 31 - Friday, November 4:
• Various lane closures on southbound US 41, between Velp Avenue and Scheuring Road, Monday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and Friday from 6 p.m. to 10 a.m. for shoulder widening. 
• Various lane closures on northbound US 41, between Scheuring Road and Velp Avenue, Monday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and Friday from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. for shoulder widening.

WIS 172
Monday, October 10 - Friday, December 16:
• Southbound US 41 on-ramp from eastbound WIS 172 closed continuously through Friday, December 16 for construction of the Dutchman’s Creek box culvert.

WIS 29
Thursday, November 3 and Friday, November 4:
• Various lanes of eastbound and westbound WIS 29, between US 41 and County FF, closed Thursday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., and Friday from 6 a.m. to noon and 8 p.m. to 6 p.m. for miscellaneous construction.

All lane restrictions are weather dependent and subject to change.
