US 41 Project lane closures for October 24 – October 28
Traffic restrictions in Brown and Winnebago counties
(Green Bay) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region is announcing US 41 lane restrictions for October 24 – October 28 in Brown and Winnebago counties. Traffic impacts in Brown County include complete closure of northbound US 41 at Glory Road on Monday, October 24 and complete closure of southbound US 41 lanes at same location on Tuesday, October 25. The Breezewood Lane interchange in Winnebago County has reopened to motorists. Speed limits on US 41 are reduced between Breezewood Lane and WIS 26.

Witzel Avenue – Breezewood Lane
Tuesday, October 25 and Wednesday, October 26:
• Various lanes of northbound US 41, between Witzel Avenue and Breezewood Lane, closed Tuesday and Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., to move barrier wall.
Brown County
Scheuring Road – Velp Avenue
Monday, October 24 - Friday, October 28:
• Various lane closures on southbound US 41, between Velp Avenue and Scheuring Road, Monday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and Friday from 6 p.m. to 10 a.m. for shoulder widening.
• Various lane closures on northbound US 41, between Scheuring Road and Velp Avenue, Monday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and Friday from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. for shoulder widening.
Glory Road
Monday, October 24 and Tuesday, October 25:
• Complete closure of northbound US 41 near Glory Road on Monday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. and complete closure of southbound US 41 in the same location on Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. The closures are needed to place girders for the new Glory Road overpass. Motorists should anticipate possible delays and are strongly encouraged to plan alternate routes.
Details of traffic impacts for Monday, October 24:
• Northbound US 41 closed between the off-ramp to Ashland Avenue and northbound US 41 on-ramp at Oneida Street from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Northbound US 41 traffic will be detoured onto Ashland Avenue to Pilgrim Way to westbound WIS 172 to northbound US 41
• Northbound US 41 on-ramp from Main Avenue (County G) closed
Details of traffic impacts for Tuesday, October 25:
• Southbound US 41 shut between the off-ramp to WIS 172 and southbound US 41 on-ramp from Ashland Avenue from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
• Southbound US 41 on-ramps from westbound WIS 172 and Oneida Street closed; southbound US 41 on-ramp from eastbound WIS 172 already closed for box culvert project
• Detour route for southbound US 41 motorists will be eastbound WIS 172 to the Ashland Avenue ramp onto Vanderperren Way, east on Vanderperren Way to Ashland Avenue, south to US 41
• Westbound WIS 172 traffic looking to access southbound US 41 will be detoured to Pilgrim Way and to Ashland Avenue, south to US 41

Monday, October 10 – Friday, December 16:
• Southbound US 41 on-ramp from eastbound WIS 172 closed continuously starting Monday through Friday, December 16 for construction of the Dutchman’s Creek box culvert.
Thursday, October 27 and Friday, October 28:
• Left lane of southbound US 41 on-ramp to eastbound WIS 172 closed Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon for ramp work

Monday, October 24 – Friday, October 28:
• Various lanes of eastbound and westbound WIS 29, between US 41 and County FF, closed Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., and Friday from 6 a.m. to noon and 8 p.m. to 6 p.m. for miscellaneous construction.
Monday, October 24:
• Full closure of eastbound WIS 29 between County FF and County J on Monday from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m., to install signs over eastbound lanes Detour for eastbound traffic is WIS 29 to County FF, south to WIS 54, east to US 41, north to WIS 29.
