Glory Road overpass in Brown County opening by midnight
(Green Bay) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region is announcing the reconstructed Glory Road bridge over US 41 is opening to traffic by midnight on Friday, December 16.
The $2.3 million project involves replacing the bridge over US 41 and improvements to Glory Road between Market Street and Holmgren Way, ahead of the expansion of mainline US 41 from four to six traffic lanes in 2012. Work on the project began in July.
The bridge was originally scheduled to open December 9, but weather conditions forced a one-week delay.
All lane restrictions, road openings and work operations are weather dependent and subject to change.
